Following a minimal showing for fall, Miuccia Prada embraced a “post-modest” attitude for Prada’s spring-summer 2016 menswear collection. Gravitating towards boyish cuts, models got leggy as they hit the catwalk in slouchy shorts, paired with summer coats, zippered jackets and casual tees. Straight-legged trousers joined the festivities, paired with cheeky sweaters decorated with rabbits, bright colors and stripes. Prada also adopted the tracksuit, reinterpreting it with color-blocked uniforms. Pulling the youthful looks together, which reached a high point with the inclusion of leather, the ultimate style statement to come from Prada’s show was the pairing of dress shoes and layered socks.
