Photographed by Lonny Spence, Juaja actor Viggo Mortensen connects with Clash magazine to discuss the new movie. Talking about the type of projects he likes to tackle, Mortensen explains, “I like to work on stories where I’m forced to learn things that I hardly knew anything about.” Working on Far From Men, the 56 year-old actor picked up bits of Arabic and West Algerian dialect. Mortensen adds, “All of that forced me to look at the world in a different way. I look at movies that way. They’re like university courses. Just for my enjoyment and education, I prefer to do as much preparation as I can and then show up and see what happens.” Read more at ClashMusic.com.
