Ellesse taps Andrew Garfield for fall 2026. The actor’s particular brand of charm makes him a natural fit for the label’s tennis-playing man. Photographer and director Oliver Hadlee Pearch captures Garfield for “Do It Like An Italian,” a three-part campaign that playfully sets out to make the British-American star an honorary Italian.
Andrew Garfield for Ellesse
Chapter one, “Say It Like An Italian,” surrounds him in red as he learns the proper pronunciation of ellesse (ell-ess-seh, not el-lease) while wearing pieces from the brand’s archive.

Chapter two, “Play It Like An Italian,” shifts to the tennis court in black and white, with stylist Warren Alfie Baker dressing Garfield in a V-neck knitted vest. The longer hair adds a touch of 1970s movie-star appeal to a sporting image ellesse has cultivated for decades.

Tennis style was as much about looking good at the club as winning the match. Garfield understands that proposition instinctively. The ranking can wait. With one chapter still to come, ellesse has already found its man.
