Troye Sivan is Out’s latest cover star. The singer covers the magazine’s June/July 2018 issue. Santiago & Mauricio photograph Sivan for a stripped down feature with styling by Grant Woolhead. Sivan also chats with music legend Elton John for the accompanying interview. Approaching the subject of fashion, Sivan talks about being the face of Valentino. Yeah, that was amazing. Fashion is something I was really scared of when I was a little kid because I didn’t want anyone to think I was gay.

Sivan continues, I foolishly thought fashion was a very gay thing. I’ve obviously learned and grown a lot, but I feel like I only recently let myself really start to enjoy how I dress and experiment with how I dress, and sign to brands that I love. It’s still a new thing for me that I’m figuring out every day. I definitely didn’t have the courage to dress how I wanted when I was younger.
