The quintessential GQ man, Eddie Redmayne is back in the spotlight. The English actor stars in a photo shoot for the April 2017 issue of GQ Italia. Photographer Michelangelo di Battista captures the star. Stylist Andrea Tenerani pays homage to Redmayne’s charming Prada campaign with a handful of looks from the Italian fashion house. Redmayne also sports brands such as Valentino.

Redmayne talks to GQ Italia about how he prepares for roles such as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In a translated quote, the 35-year-old actor shares, “I have a bad imagination, so I have to try to immerse myself in things as visually as possible.”
Redmayne explains, “I watch different films, from those of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton on, I look at the paintings, and from every angle, I try to get something interesting to compose a collage of references that inspires me.”
