Gotham is “Mad for Melo” as they connect with Oklahoma City Thunder’s Carmelo Anthony. Photographer Warwick Saint captures the athlete with help by stylist Khalilah Beavers. Venturing to New York’s Spring Place, Anthony warms up to designer fall fashions. He wears brands like Bottega Veneta and Valentino.

Anthony also talks to the magazine about fashion and the NBA. The 33-year-old basketball player says, “When I first came into the NBA, you got joked on for going to fashion shows. Now it’s part of the lifestyle. We look forward to seeing what’s hot and what’s not.”

Discussing personal style, Anthony adds, “That’s the challenge nowadays for fashion. You have to differentiate yourself from everyone else, and a big part of that is content [and] storytelling. It’s constant evolution. I sit back and look and observe and add my own twist to it. That’s what I’m doing right now, just trying to see where everything is going.” Read more on Gotham-Magazine.com.
