Nom de Guerre Fall 2010 | Countdown to Violence

Nom de Guerre Fall 2010 | Countdown to Violence

Finding solace in the darkness of night, Nom de Guerre turns their attention to military special forces for the fall 2010 season. Inspired by an apocalyptic fiction novel entitled The Melancholy of Resistance, in which constant darkness instills a cold sterile environment, the latest collection creates a black uniform for Nom de Guerre’s Countdown to Violence. Pairing tapered trousers with functional outerwear and protective layers, Nom de Guerre manages to find a new narrative for their signature penchant for the militaristic aesthetic. Providing the perfect imagery to highlight the collection, Erik Swain photographs Salieu Jalloh, Dominique Hollington, Ernesto Araujo, Oraine Barrett, Remi Alade-Chester, Ger Duany, Thiam Sohibou, Brian Thomas and Lloyd Williams for this season’s lookbook and product imagery.
