The Hamburg native’s magnetic blend of curly-haired, boyish warmth and chiseled athletic structure has secured him a rare multi-year stronghold over European luxury and American legacy brands.

Blond, clean-jawed, and shaped by handball and track from his Hamburg youth, Valentin Humbroich broke through in 2020 when Alasdair McLellan shot him for the fall-winter cover of Vogue Hommes Paris. Burberry’s B Series campaign under Riccardo Tisci followed, and Jacquemus put him in front of Camille Summers-Valli for fall 2021.

By his early twenties, Valentin had shot Louis Vuitton, Versace, Hugo Boss, and Loro Piana, with Tommy Hilfiger handing him a global fragrance contract.

The Calvin Klein relationship is the one that has defined the rest. Valentin has shot over twenty campaigns for the house across his career. A return relationship at that scale is rare in male modeling at his age, and it tells the story of what casting directors keep coming back to in him. He has become one of the few faces of his generation the luxury cohort books as a fixture.
