Oscar Kindelan
Oscar Kindelan is a Spanish model from Madrid whose international career began with a Prada exclusive. Raised in the city and interested in skateboarding, he was scouted in 2013 around a concert, entering a profession he had not planned to pursue.
His breakthrough followed a change of hair color. After bleaching his brown hair, Oscar attended a Prada casting and caught stylist Olivier Rizzo’s attention. He made his international runway debut in the house’s spring-summer 2016 menswear show, held in 2015. The platinum hair became part of his early fashion identity, though his subsequent runway success continued after he returned to a darker look.
By the spring-summer 2017 season, Oscar was appearing across London’s menswear schedule and opened Coach 1941. Work for Louis Vuitton and Dior followed his Prada introduction, while advertising for Coach and Furla developed another part of his career. His casting increasingly extended beyond the image that had first brought him attention.
Spanish fashion photography remained an important connection. Oscar appeared in Esquire España and ICON, with a 2019 ICON story placing him in front of Gorka Postigo’s camera. His international magazine portfolio also included editions of GQ and L’Officiel Hommes.
Later assignments expanded into eyewear and established menswear labels. He appeared in Persol’s 2024 campaign for the 649 Iron sunglasses and modeled collections for Canali. The skater discovered in Madrid developed a career that outlasted the dramatic hair change of his debut, with runway work and photographic assignments becoming complementary parts of his profession.
