Husband and wife design team, Michael and Nicole Colovos are on their way to making Helmut Lang relevant once more. The fall 2009 collection is a sleek, clean body of monochromatic pieces designed with layering in mind. A majority of the minimalist collection is based on a black and gray color palette, but the color white also makes a refreshing fall appearance. The thin light pieces were created to be versatile and pertinent to each season. The decision to go this simplistic route is a wise one as it opens Helmut Lang up as the basis for a foundational wardrobe.
