We all are pretty much aware of the fact that salon heating products are the secrets to having fabulous hair, but excessive good things are bad. Too much heat can result in damage, hair loss, and breakage.

Hair dryers are excellent tools when it comes to setting up the mane. But just using the small hair dryer is not enough. Here is a list of some do’s don’ts that some experts have suggested through their experience. Follow them to have hair of your dreams.

Product is always needed

Using a hair dryer for gorgeous hair doesn’t mean drying the hair alone using air. It is imperative to apply products that are made especially for your hair type. It takes extra work, but the results are effective. Not using the product is one of the significant mistakes that some hair stylists tend to make. For instance, use a volumizing spray if the hair falls flat quickly. A conditioner must be used for better moisturizing.

Keep Argan Oil nearby

It is essential to use Argan Oil to keep the hair smooth and silky. Apply it to damp hair sealing the cuticles which may enhance the natural waves. However, the application must be minimal, or it may result in a greasy and unwashed look. It even improves the smell of your hair keeping it fresh and clean. Dry shampoo can be applied to the hair once it is dry to give your hair extra texture and lift.

Do not use the towel

Using a towel to dry the hair after washing is a common practice. According to some stylists, one of the best secrets to keep hair amazing is avoiding using a towel for your hair. It is one of the most common reasons behind it hair getting frizz. Instead utilize a pillowcase, microfiber cloth or a soft cotton t-shirt. These materials have more excellent threads and do less damage to wet hair. Paper towels can be used as well.

Do not sleep with wet hair

Think twice before you hit the bed with soaking hair. Sleeping with wet hair can cause knots and tangles resulting in more hair loss and breakage. Instead, apply a coating of serum and then braid the hair loosely and then secure it with a covering elastic to avoid damage. This way you can protect the hair. You can also wrap it in a silk pillowcase or a scarf.

The bottom line

Different stylists may have a different approach towards hair. Even the nature of your hair determines how it needs to be treated. For instance, it is recommendable to use curling cream for wavy hair whereas mousse is preferable for extra fine and thin hair. This is the general rule: different products work differently on different products. Nevertheless, above were some basic tips that must be followed when using a hair dryer to experience results that every hairstylist looks forward to.
