Ed Sheeran Tops the Charts–X, the new album by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart after its first week of sales, recording the best debut of 2014 for a pop record. The album has also topped the charts worldwide, in New Zealand, Germany and Sheeran’s native United Kingdom amongst others.Tomorrow, Sheeran will headline the Independence Day edition of NBC’s Today Toyota Concert series, which will be broadcast live on television from the Rockefeller Center in New York City.
