Dior Homme Fall 2014–Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche tackles his own spin on the pre-collections looking at his latest outing as fall 2014 with winter 2014 to follow next month during Paris Fashion Week. Taking from his own background, Van Assche bases the fall collection on the travels of a Belgian art student. Lending his signature tailoring a more youthful attitude, Van Assche reflects on the student as a style aficionado who possesses a variety of pieces for different occasions. Van Assche expands on the wardrobe concept with “A blazer, a leather biker jacket, a bright red duffle coat, some knits, the typical ‘art student’ narrow black jeans, and, of course, black combat boots.” Altogether, the new collection’s core focus is presenting great separates that make for easily dashing ensembles.
