Givenchy revisits the eighties for its resort 2019 collection. Creative director Clare Waight Keller recalls the fashion house’s Givenchy Sport line during the early eighties. A pulse for graphic designs and v-shapes informed the range and inspired Keller’s contemporary vision today. Giving the new collection a spin, models Henry Kitcher and Xu Meen come together. Brianna Capozzi photographs the outing with art direction by Patrick Li and styling from Suzanne Koller. Pleated trousers and fitted athletic-inspired tops reign in oversized coats. Meanwhile, graphics look to the East for an elegant style narrative. At large, the colors black, red, and white sell the season’s story.
