Ferragamo Pre-Spring 2027 Filters Through Surrealism & Cubism

The Fashionisto / Published June 15, 2026

Ferragamo’s pre-spring 2027 collection finds Maximilian Davis looking past the glamour of the 1920s and toward the creative circles that shaped the decade’s cultural imagination. Surrealism and Cubism serve as key points of reference, though their influence arrives through construction instead of decoration.

Davis approaches menswear as a collage, bringing together tailoring, sportswear, leather craftsmanship, and utility dressing in ways that feel slightly disorienting.

A leather shirt replaces a traditional dress shirt. A tie appears beneath a bomber jacket. Technical outerwear is sharpened with leather trim. The collection’s appeal lies in these unexpected pairings, where familiar garments take on new meaning through context.

That artistic approach extends into the silhouette. High-waisted trousers fall in generous volumes, often pooling over leather loafers or sandals finished with a Gancini buckle, while abbreviated jackets and draped coats create long, graphic proportions.

Leather repeats across trenches, blousons, shirts, and accessories in shades of tobacco, burgundy, black, and deep olive. Davis lets tailoring and casual wear coexist within the same look. The result is a wardrobe informed by the fragmented visual language of modern art while staying grounded in the realities of contemporary dress.
