Joaquin Phoenix looks dressed for an ordinary business trip in Gentle Monster’s intelligent eyewear campaign, though his hotel suggests a serious booking error. A teaser for the forthcoming film, directed by Jonathan Glazer, introduces the actor as a salesman encountering increasingly strange guests and situations.

Phoenix’s tan raincoat and loosened tie establish a reassuringly conventional figure, with thick black frames that belong comfortably to his working wardrobe. Against the corridor’s red light, that everyday uniform becomes part of the suspense. Gentle Monster places its technological proposition inside this encounter with the unknown, with the campaign’s story promising glasses that help the salesman understand and communicate with mysterious entities.

The full film arrives later this month, with preorders for the Intelligent Eyewear Collection opening November 12, 2026. A New York public preview runs November 13 to 23, with registration available through Gentle Monster’s website.
