Pau Ramis
Pau Ramis is a Spanish model from Igualada, Catalonia, whose first assignments quickly connected him with Massimo Dutti and Giorgio Armani. A career that began through photographs posted on Instagram developed into recurring work for Italian fashion houses and international menswear advertising.
Pau was at university when a classmate suggested he could model. After similar comments from two other people, he arranged his first test photographs through that friend. In a 2024 interview with Rísbel, he recalled feeling uncomfortable during the shoot, having struggled with insecurities about his appearance. The photographs went on Instagram, and agent Eduardo Sayas contacted him the following day.
His early work included Massimo Dutti’s resort 2019 edit with Kit Butler and Giorgio Armani’s fall-winter 2019 show. Pau remembered that first Armani runway appearance as a particularly emotional experience, surrounded by established models he recognized.
Later assignments took him to Armani’s home for Made to Measure advertising and onto Stefano Gabbana’s yacht. “The things you can experience in this profession are crazy,” he told the magazine, translated from Spanish.
Armani became a continuing professional relationship. Pau appeared in the house’s New York exclusive collection imagery in 2024 and its spring-summer 2025 campaign. Magazine work, including a 2022 story for L’Officiel Baltics, developed alongside runway appearances for Dolce & Gabbana and Ralph Lauren.
In a 2026 interview with La Vanguardia, Pau described the responsibility of wearing an important runway look. Recalling a Ralph Lauren booking, he said, “There isn’t any particular instruction; they trust you,” translated from Spanish. His account emphasized the judgment involved in giving clothes character, from rehearsals to last-minute styling changes, revealing a working model’s perspective on the images seen around the world.
