Saul Symon
Saul Symon is a model of Scottish-American background who grew up in the south of France. His career began with Zegna’s spring-summer 2021 show, establishing an early connection with the Italian house that developed from runway appearances into advertising.
By 2022, his work included shows for Hermès and Dior, alongside a Zegna spring-summer campaign photographed by David Gomez Maestre. The relationship with Zegna continued into its spring-summer 2023 advertising, making it a recurring part of his first years in the industry.
In a 2023 profile for the Financial Times’ HTSI, Saul described the appeal of modeling through the people he met, saying he loved working with “zealous, tender folk.” His mullet became a recognizable element of his early fashion image, while his bookings developed across designer shows and photographic work.
Hermès gave Saul another recurring professional connection. In its spring 2023 “Astonishing Orange” campaign, photographed by Tim Walker, he joined a playful accessories story built around the house’s orange boxes. Work with Massimo Dutti also developed over several years, including visual stories such as “In Between the Spaces” in 2022 and continuing into later menswear edits.
His subsequent advertising included AMI and AMIRI, followed by Bottega Veneta’s spring 2026 campaign, photographed by Juergen Teller in Venice. These assignments extended the photographic side of a career that had begun on the runway, while repeat casting for houses including Hermès and Zegna supplied continuity across seasons.
