Aleksandar Rusić
Aleksandar Rusić is a German model from Hamburg whose career has been closely associated with Giorgio Armani. His work for the house developed across menswear and underwear advertising before he became the face of Acqua di Giò Profondo, making him part of its fragrance imagery as well as its fashion campaigns.
With a Serbian father and a mother from Montenegro, Aleksandar grew up in Germany. His introduction to modeling came through a chance encounter at a cinema, where another audience member approached him about the profession. An exclusive Calvin Klein runway booking in early 2014 became his first modeling job, taking him directly into the international show circuit.
Armani became an important connection soon afterward. Aleksandar appeared in the Armani Jeans spring 2015 catalogue and fronted Giorgio Armani’s fall-winter 2015 campaign. Repeated work for Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani gave his portfolio a continuity extending across the group’s different menswear lines. He appeared in Emporio Armani’s fall 2018 advertising and its spring 2019 campaign in Ibiza, alongside Ton Heukels and André Bona.
The Acqua di Giò Profondo campaign in 2020 marked a further stage in that relationship. Aleksandar followed it with Emporio Armani’s spring 2021 underwear campaign and returned for the following year’s advertising. These assignments made him a recurring face of the Armani man, from the dressed figure on the runway to the more physical imagery of fragrance and underwear.
Magazine work added settings beyond that continuing house relationship, including stories for GQ Germany and L’Officiel Germany. His return in Giorgio Armani’s spring-summer 2023 campaign placed him alongside Taemin Park and Ibrahim Idoow. For Aleksandar, the house became a sustained professional association, developing over successive seasons and different parts of its visual identity.
