Patrick O’Donnell

Patrick O’Donnell is a British model whose early career included a cover of i-D‘s summer 2011 issue, photographed by Alasdair McLellan. The booking introduced him through one of British fashion’s defining magazines, beginning a portfolio in which editorial photography remained a significant thread.

Further magazine work included Arena Homme+ and GQ Brasil. His tattoos became a recognizable part of his photographic identity, appearing alongside the tailoring and sportswear he modeled. These professional images gave him different roles to inhabit, from outdoor fashion stories to more elaborate editorial performances.

For a 2017 VMAN feature, Patrick played a fashion editor navigating Milan Fashion Week. Photographer Luca Repola followed him through appointments and show appearances, with the story placing him alongside designers including Giorgio Armani and Donatella Versace. The assignment made his participation in the fashion world the subject of the photographs as well as their setting.

His later work developed a recurring connection to Italian luxury menswear. Patrick appeared in presentations for Brunello Cucinelli and Ralph Lauren Purple Label, while Brunello Cucinelli’s holiday 2024 campaign gave him a leading advertising role. That association became a continuing chapter in a career first brought to wider attention through British editorial photography.
