A summer escape apparently still has room for a double-breasted suit. Peter Jackson Australia’s “Destination: Summer” campaign puts tailoring on the itinerary, with Gonçalo Campos and Paulo Lopes Lucio dressing for sun-baked courtyards as though dinner reservations might follow.

Photographed by Alfi Gomez, with creative direction by Corey Bell, the campaign finds its appeal in that refusal to let holiday dressing become an extended exercise in beachwear. Designers Anna Short and David Jackson keep the jacket in circulation, changing what surrounds it.

A dark checked blazer goes over a T-shirt and white trousers; a powder-blue suit loosens up with an open collar and sandals. Even the more formal combinations have their pleasures, particularly a blue suit worn with a dark shirt and tonal tie against ochre walls.

The setting supplies the warmth that office associations tend to drain from tailoring. Rust and burgundy shirts offer another route, their open necks and rolled sleeves balanced by trousers worn high at the waist. There is a useful distinction here between dressing down and giving up on getting dressed. Peter Jackson’s holiday wardrobe leaves plenty of room for the latter ritual.

Peter Jackson previously took tailoring into the mountains for its winter 2025 Higher Ground campaign, also photographed by Alfi Gomez under Corey Bell’s creative direction.
