Clothes with a taste for the spotlight get more interesting in everyday life. John Varvatos takes that thought into “Wonderland,” its fall-winter 2026 collection. Here, Karl Aberg draws on London’s 1970s rock legends and the ease of Americana.
John Varvatos Fall/Winter 2026 Campaign

Photographed by Cara Johnson, the campaign features Anatol Modzelewski and David Trulik in rooms whose peeling walls give the rich clothes a useful dose of neglect. A purple velvet jacket has obvious frontman appeal, but worn with slim dark trousers, it suggests a man dressing to his own taste, even on an ordinary evening.

David stretches out on a staircase in floral jacquard and leather trousers, treating the grand jacket with the ease of a favorite cardigan. His green Alden bomber brings that same appetite for texture into a more everyday shape, worn over an open shirt.

The Rolling Stones T-shirt supplies the literal reference; the stronger connection is in how casually these men inhabit their finery. “Wonderland’s” best proposition is permission to wear the special jacket before a special occasion arrives.

The musical thread also runs through John Varvatos’ Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers capsule, which marks the band’s fiftieth anniversary with Tommy Dunn fronting the collection.
