Pull & Bear

Pull & Bear was established in Spain in 1991 as part of the Inditex group. The label began with casual menswear, offering an accessible alternative for younger customers interested in international fashion. Its proposition joined everyday basics to the changing references coming from music and the street.

Denim has remained a central part of the wardrobe, alongside graphic T-shirts and sportswear. The proportions and styling change with youth culture, allowing a loose jean or a new outerwear shape to alter the feel of a simple outfit. That flexibility has given Pull & Bear room to move between skate influences and more restrained casual dressing.

The company expanded internationally from 1992, opening its first stores outside Spain in Portugal. Womenswear followed in 1998, broadening an identity initially built around young men. The stores and visual campaigns developed into another part of the proposition, presenting clothes within a world of leisure and popular culture.

Headquartered in Naron, in Spain’s Galicia region, Pull & Bear operates alongside other Inditex brands while maintaining its own youthful focus. Its menswear is built around the speed with which people adopt new ideas about getting dressed. A seasonal reference becomes something affordable enough to enter an ordinary wardrobe, with jeans and easy layers providing the continuity.
