Moncler maps the evolution of the puffer jacket with Re/Icons 2026. The Italian brand traces its journey from high-altitude survival gear to urban uniform. Re/Icons revisits four defining designs, starting with the Karakorum, created for Italy’s historic 1954 K2 summit. By the 1980s, the Verone and Tibb marked Moncler’s crossover into street culture, with the Verone becoming a favorite of the Paninari, Milan’s status-conscious youth subculture. The timeline closes with the 2009 Himalaya, the direct predecessor to today’s Moncler Maya.
Reworked in contemporary fabrics and proportions, the jackets retain the alpine character that first defined Moncler. For the first time, Re/Icons also extends beyond outerwear into windbreakers, T-shirts, trousers, and accessories, turning the brand’s expedition history into a complete wardrobe. It’s a full-circle tribute to a brand that bridged extreme mountaineering and street fashion.
