Canali Spring 2027 Follows the Spice Route

The Fashionisto / Published June 21, 2026

Canali’s spring-summer 2027 collection follows the ancient spice routes, tracing a path from Indonesia to the Mediterranean through a wardrobe shaped by climate, craft, and movement. Creative director Alessio Lillocci translates cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and star anise into a spectrum of earthy browns, warm neutrals, and sea-washed blues.

The journey begins with suede blousons, soft tailored suits, and lightweight knitwear, all grounded in Canali’s ongoing pursuit of exceptional materials. Throughout the collection, tailoring sheds formality in favor of practicality, with V-neck knits, bucket hats, and relaxed outerwear loosening the house’s sartorial codes.

The collection’s gradual shift from structured city dressing toward the relaxed habits of summer gives it momentum. Linen becomes increasingly prominent as the voyage progresses, while Japanese denim, openwork knits, and carrot-fit trousers lend contemporary shape to the wardrobe.

Canali also places unusual emphasis on the blue blazer, revisiting one of menswear’s most enduring staples through different fabrics, weights, and constructions. By the time the collection reaches the Mediterranean island of Alicudi, suits appear in airy linen crêpe, sandals replace loafers, and tailoring shares equal footing with shorts and knit polos.
