2707 is the birth date of designer Morgan Sundberg. Launched in 2004, 2707 was initially a women’s line. Fall 2008 saw an expansion of the label to include menswear. Approaching clothes with the goal to revamp classics, Sundberg is at home playing with proportions to achieve a modern look. He has done just that with the spring menswear collection. Beginning with a French sailor inspired sweater, one piece became an entire range of clothing. By restructuring the way stripes work in an ensemble, Sundberg created new looks that incorporate oversized pieces, the mixing of different stripe sets, and a variety of shapes. The result is a relaxed collection of versatile but stylish tees, knits, waistcoats, and trousers fit for any breezy spring day.
