Zara reaches back into the World Cup archive with its FIFA Classics collection, a limited-edition capsule released ahead of the 2026 tournament across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Modeled by Tom Meacock and Joshua Boniface, the accompanying edit pulls from the tournament’s defining editions: England ’66, Mexico ’70, Italia ’90, USA ’94, and France ’98.

The imagery mimics the grain of vintage sports photography. Tom and Joshua kick footballs through brick-lined streets and lounge beside parked cars in rugby-style jerseys, color-block polos, track jackets, shorts, and graphic tees stamped with classic FIFA World Cup iconography. The pieces recall the casual sportswear that once filled stadium terraces and neighborhood pitches.

Zara channels football fandom from the stands to the sofa, a world of television broadcasts, collectible mascots, and the colors of summers spent watching matches on a global stage. A Mexico ’70 striped rugby shirt, France ’98 polos, USA ’94 graphics, and England-inspired crests turn classic World Cup editions into wearable souvenirs.

Across 23 pieces, the capsule frames World Cup history as a casual wardrobe made for the street.

For more from the brand this season, Zara also heads to the coast in a beachwear edit starring Francesco Ruggiero, trading rugby shirts for printed swim trunks.
