Zara looks to its own past with the latest iteration of the 90’s Archive. The limited-edition collection revisits the brand’s 1990s designs with updated materials and finishes. Photographed by Daniel Archer, models Max Knott and Vasko Luyckx showcase many of the decade’s adult codes. Broad-shouldered blazers and leather jackets meet straight jeans, white T-shirts, and fine knits.
The proportions recall the minimalist streak that ran through European fashion imagery before Y2K turned the volume up. Most notable, Zara treats its own history as an archive worth mining. A re-examination found much of today’s menswear present and ready to unpack.
