Home is often seen as one’s inner sanctuary so what better wardrobe inspiration than its interiors? Designer Stephan Schneider revisits memories of his childhood home for his fall-winter 2016 men’s collection. Dressing up suburban life with a moody narrative, burgundy, dark night and raven grey craft the collection’s color palette.

Oil paintings depicting picturesque landscapes and remarkable still life act as reference points for the well-rounded outing.  Among smart separates, a tapestry of fabrics comes to life with checked tweed, striped knits and luxurious mohair. Spotlighting must-haves such as a painters atelier shirt or a collectors coat and trompe l’oeil cardigan, Schneider delivers a timeless charm.
