Sam Claflin takes on an understated attitude for the winter 2016 issue of L’Officiel Hommes Netherlands. Stylist Way Perry outfits the English actor in a military-inspired look from Diesel. Contributing to the minimal atmosphere, photographer Roger Rich captures Claflin for the accompanying photo shoot. Connecting with the magazine and discussing his acting career, Claflin explores what roles he would like to tackle next.
The 30-year-old actor shares in a translated quote, “It’s hard to say. I don’t think that I’m an action hero, but I would like a try. At the same time, I like to get down and dirty for a role and feel the real depth of it.”

Claflin continues, “I feel at ease when I continually push myself. That’s what I want to do more and more.” Responding to compliments that he would be an ideal James Bond, Claflin says, “I think that I speak for every Englishman, and basically for every man when I say that it would be an absolute honor to play James Bond. It’s such a great character. But I’m not putting bets on me taking that role. It would be wonderful, but I keep focusing on other things.”
