Chiwetel Ejiofor is the latest actor to sit down with Mr Porter for The Journal. Promoting Mary Magdalene, Ejiofor links up with photographer Serge Leblon for the accompanying feature. Meanwhile, the Belgian photographer collaborates with stylist Eilidh Greig. It’s here that Ejiofor wears sleek spring styles from a variety of luxury labels like Tom Ford and Prada.
Ejiofor also talks to Mr Porter about playing Peter the apostle in Mary Magdalene. It doesn’t seem totally unreasonable, initially, for Peter to be worried about bringing Mary along, because, well, it doesn’t seem like the best way to spread a message, to carry off young girls with you, says Ejiofor.
