Neiman Marcus Heads to the Big Apple-According to WWD, luxury retailer Neiman Marcus has finally set its sights on New York City. Neiman Marcus will be opening its first store in Manhattan in Hudson Yards. Slated for a 2018 opening, Neiman Marcus president and chief executive offers explains that “Demographics show that the growth and population on the west side and south west side of the city is growing much faster than other parts of the city. Our expectation is that it becomes a tourist destination. with a good mix of West Siders, people who also live downtown and international tourists.”
