Parker van Noord was fourteen when his father André took him onto a Knack Weekend cover shoot with Philippe Vogelenzang, and the agency call followed within the week.

André van Noord had been one of the longest-working male models in European fashion, and Parker had grown up watching the camera work happen, the job itself a mystery. He told i-D that on that first shoot he found “a natural feeling for the camera.”

At six-two, Parker has shot campaigns for Mango, Zara, and CH Carolina Herrera, walked Balmain in Paris, and covered Vogue Man Netherlands, GQ España, Icon El País, and Hercules. Viviane Sassen shot him with his sister Bes for the April 2025 Vogue Netherlands cover, the van Noords on a national magazine together.

André had told WWD when Parker started that the only thing a father can wish is “that his son will do better than himself.” Time has told.
