Conrad Bromfield
Conrad Bromfield is a Jamaican model born in New York who spent much of his childhood in Jamaica, living there from the age of two until twelve. Those two places shaped his sense of home long before modeling made travel part of his working life.
Scouted on the streets of Soho, he signed with U Model Management and was placed with Ford Models. By early 2013, he was walking European shows for Tom Ford and Vivienne Westwood, followed by Michael Kors and J.Crew in New York.
Tom Ford became a defining early collaborator. Conrad appeared in the label’s fall-winter 2013 and spring-summer 2014 campaigns, establishing a relationship that extended beyond advertising. In 2014, Ford photographed him alongside Pat Cleveland for a cover story in Numéro Russia, styled by André Leon Talley. Bromfield later described the experience as one of the reasons he continued modeling, recalling the personalities in the room and the confidence the shoot demanded.
His career expanded across luxury fashion and mainstream advertising, with campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors alongside work for Gap and H&M. On the runway, his credits include Bottega Veneta, Balmain, and Hermès. That range gave him a career spanning European fashion houses and the American sportswear market, drawing on an athletic build and an ease in front of the camera.
Conrad’s interest in image-making began with film. He has explained that modeling caught him by surprise; creating moments through film had been his first passion. He spoke about fashion as a space to express himself and about ambitions to act or direct. His life outside the studio also offered an unexpected detail: in 2020, he owned a mechanic shop in Brooklyn. The combination suggests someone with interests beyond his own image, treating modeling as a way into creative work and a wider world.
