Benoni Loos

Benoni Loos is a Belgian model whose career began with a prominent place in Gucci’s casting. Opening the house’s fall-winter 2009 show introduced him to the international menswear circuit, and an appearance in its fall 2009 campaign followed that same year.

That early runway-to-advertising progression established two strands of his working life. Benoni became a face of luxury fashion while developing an extensive editorial portfolio, moving between the formal demands of tailoring and more experimental menswear. His runway work extended to Fendi and Thom Browne, while magazine appearances included British GQ and GQ Japan.

A later chapter brought him into Prada’s orbit. He walked in the house’s fall-winter 2020 show and appeared in its accompanying advertising project, Tools of Memory. More than a decade after his early Gucci bookings, the casting placed him within another major Italian house’s visual world.

Tailoring remained a recurring part of his editorial identity. In 2021, he appeared in an Italian Gentleman fashion story devoted to spring suiting. His work for MatchesFashion that same year took a more eclectic direction, encompassing unconventional proportions and designer knitwear alongside suits. These parallel assignments show the breadth of menswear he has represented, from established sartorial codes to fashion’s more individual proposals.
