Gieves & Hawkes Fall/Winter 2014–Embracing the spirit of Savile Row but redefining it for the modern man, Gieves & Hawkes creative director Jason Basmajian presented a luxe tailored offering during London Collections: Men. For fall/winter 2014, Basmajian followed the sharp lines of tradition, structuring a wardrobe around sartorial essentials. Dressing his latest outing in rich autumnal hues, a contemporary image of English luxury was realized with double-breasted trenches, plaid mac coats and even more grands pieces such as a cape. Revealing elegant three-piece suits and evening essentials like the velvet or satin jacket, Gieves & Hawkes produced a well-rounded collection, embodying a sophisticated mode.
