Z Zegna marries comfort and style with its fall-winter 2021 collection. After getting used to the ease and security of home with the global pandemic, Z Zegna artistic director Alessandro Sartori blurs the line between leisurewear and modern tailoring. Born with a romantic elegance in mind, this season’s shapes are wrapped around the body for a soft shield from the environment. Strong outerwear pieces range from a boxy cropped jacket in a rich brown to a draped neck alternative in the form of a double-breasted jacket. Further celebrating the moment the overshirt is enjoying, Sartori offers several options, alongside elongated cardigans. Meanwhile, puffers show innovation with lightweight constructions, recycled paddings, waterproof treatments, and the use of Techmerino wool. This is one of the many fall styles that amplify Z Zegna’s commitment to sustainability, with 75% of the materials used in the collection being recycled.
