The Bronze Age serves as inspiration for Saturdays NYC’s fall-winter 2017 collection. Referencing the working class and post-war youth, the brand offers a contemporary spin on utilitarian wear. Here, metallic-like colors come together to dress a wardrobe that revolves around boxy silhouettes and sharp silhouettes. Hero pieces for the season range from Saturdays NYC’s quilted Nazar vest to a cashmere bouclé sweater and windowpane cardigan. For trousers, the label doesn’t disappoint. Semi-lean fits come together with its corduroy field pants and Peruvian pima twill trousers. Showing a penchant for luxurious materials, the collection also includes key materials such as an angora-wool French terry fabric, which transforms the simple hoodie. The lineup is complete with silk-blend wool, cashmere, and alpaca.
