In Development–Young up and coming Filipino designer Brian Evalle shares his latest design efforts. Working under the title Breathless with a concise narrowed down vision, Evalle offers mens clothing a soft notion, noted by an eye for today’s market and youth-oriented detail. Contrasting careful draping against more structured shapes, the range is given a platform. Captured in black and white by photographer Louie Parinas and outfitted by stylist Paris Roxas, model Colin Smith dons the designer’s collection of light, wispy layers. While elongated shirting takes on a relaxed tailored mix of dreamy proportions and the suggestiveness of plunging necklines, dark printed textiles offer a moment of delightful difference. Comparing cropped jackets with a penchant for oversized silhouettes, a fine balance is achieved in regards to fit. Finding variety in colors of a dark palette, a moderate range of light hues comes together with black to continue a dialogue of interchangeable separates. From fitted trousers and rising hemlines to the clever styling of a basic essential such as socks, a wardrobe for modern youth comes together with ease.
