Oriol Elcacho was studying international commerce in Barcelona, working a sports-store sales floor and delivering pizzas, when scouts pulled him into modeling in the early 2000s. The fashion houses came fast. Ermenegildo Zegna, Massimo Dutti, and Polo Ralph Lauren all put him in campaigns, Spanish tailoring beside American Ivy and Italian sartorialism on one portfolio.

By his late twenties he was a fixture of the tailored end of menswear, the face European luxury reached for when it wanted a grown man who looked at home in a suit. Two decades on, the casting has sharpened around what he does best. Brunello Cucinelli and Dunhill have shown him in the soft tailoring and understated luxury those houses sell, and editorials in The Rake and Robb Report place him in the same world.

Oriol’s print work runs from Esquire España and GQ Italia to VMAN. Few male models keep working at the luxury tier into their forties, and Elcacho has done it for two decades, aging into his strongest casting as the bookings stayed steady. A career that started with a Barcelona scout has settled into the rare thing in male modeling, a face luxury still wants well into his forties.
