ELEVENPARIS

ELEVENPARIS was founded in Paris in 2003 by Dan Cohen and Oriel Bensimhon. The label began in a small shop at number 11, a detail that supplied its name. Its approach to ready-to-wear connected streetwear with a taste for provocation, using recognizable cultural references as material for clothing.

Graphic T-shirts became a particular signature. The moustache motif and the phrase Life Is a Joke turned a simple garment into a vehicle for irreverence, helping the label reach an audience beyond its Paris beginnings. Printed imagery and slogans remained central to its identity as the wardrobe expanded.

Music also helped define the brand’s public image. Lenny Kravitz and Wiz Khalifa appeared in campaigns, connecting the clothes to performers whose attitudes suited the label’s playful approach. Those associations gave its casual pieces a context beyond the product itself.

Cohen continued as founder and artistic director, with Ilan Amar joining in 2017 to develop the business’s digital strategy. ELEVENPARIS remains rooted in the graphic impact of streetwear, treating the T-shirt as a place for humor, affiliation, and a small act of defiance.
