Christian Hogue

Christian Hogue is an American model from Oregon whose international career developed through fragrance advertising and menswear photography. He began modeling at fifteen, signing with IMD before moving to New York with two duffel bags and the support of his mother and grandmother.

An encounter with Giampaolo Sgura in Miami led to a shoot for Vogue Italia, while advertising assignments included Guess and Diesel. Christian’s career also developed through outerwear and sportswear, including Mackage’s fall-winter 2018 campaign, photographed by David Picard in Vancouver alongside Sofia Richie.

Davidoff became a defining professional relationship when Christian fronted the 2019 Cool Water Intense campaign. The contract continued for almost five years. He also appeared in Ron Dorff’s fall-winter 2019 advertising and lookbook, followed by 2(X)IST’s spring 2023 campaign, photographed by Christian Oita.

Magazine work has developed alongside those commercial bookings. A 2020 cover story for L’Officiel Hommes Poland brought Christian together with photographer Kosmas Pavlos and stylist Luke Day.

His editorial portfolio also includes GQ Style Russia and The Perfect Man, with runway appearances for Joseph Abboud and Christian Siriano adding live performance to his photographic career.

In a 2026 interview with tmrw, Christian described the Davidoff booking as the assignment that persuaded him to remain in modeling when he had been ready to leave. He also recalled learning to put aside the belief that certain castings or editorials were beneath him. “I had to drop that ego,” he said. “Since I did, my creativity exploded.”

That reassessment opened him to different kinds of work and a more collaborative approach. Away from assignments, he described finding quiet in woodland and on rivers with his dog, Butters, returning to the outdoor life he associated with Oregon. After years of moving for work, those connections to home have remained a personal counterpoint to his public career.
