Harry Goodwins

Harry Goodwins is a British model and actor from East London whose fashion career began with a chance encounter on Oxford Street. Scouted while shopping at fifteen, he went on to appear in Prada advertising and work internationally before becoming known to television audiences as boxer Jack Glass in The Gentlemen.

Prada’s spring-summer 2011 campaign was an early defining booking. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, Harry appeared alongside Clément Chabernaud and Kim Dall’Armi. He later credited the assignment with opening doors in the industry. Advertising for Zegna Sport followed, photographed by David Sims, while Collier Schorr shot him for Y-3’s spring-summer 2012 campaign. His magazine work included Vogue Italia and GQ Style.

In an interview with The Corner, Harry described travel and the people he met as modeling’s greatest rewards, balanced against unpredictable bookings and demands on his time. He also spoke openly about his ambition to act, imagining a future in California. His personal wardrobe was straightforward: T-shirts and ripped jeans or a loose shirt, with a three-piece suit or tuxedo for an occasion.

Acting developed alongside his fashion work long before his television breakthrough. In a 2017 interview with The Fashionisto, Harry was taking acting lessons while studying to become an electrician. Looking back on a decade of modeling, he singled out the opportunities to travel, including a Rodd & Gunn shoot in the Cook Islands, while expressing reservations about the industry’s growing dependence on social-media followings.

By 2020, he had moved from New York to Los Angeles to pursue acting more fully. Speaking to DA MAN, he described the move as a deliberate decision to take control of his career. His role in Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen, which debuted in 2024, brought that ambition to a wider audience. Further screen work included RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate, adding a feature-film role to a career that had begun in fashion.
