Public School New York takes to the city after dark for fall-winter 2026, with Joshua Woods photographing Scott Barnhill and Idriys Ali-Chow for “The City Is Mine.” Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne frame their latest collection as an evolution of American luxury, bringing tailoring, leather outerwear, and streetwear into the same wardrobe. That collection continues the comeback the brand began earlier this year.
Public School Fall/Winter 2026 Campaign

The campaign gives that proposition a heightened mood, transforming New York through blue light, blurred figures, black cars, and near-empty streets. The city begins to resemble a futuristic fashion film. It is a surprisingly distant interpretation of the New York that Public School describes as a meeting place of cultures, communities, and different ways of dressing. Instead, Woods favors atmosphere over the city’s familiar human energy.

Barnhill brings the campaign a connection to fashion history, while Ali-Chow, son of Dao-Yi Chow, puts a new generation of the designer’s own New York story in front of the camera. For a label whose first chapter was so closely tied to the city around it, “The City Is Mine” finds Public School looking at New York again. This time, it views the city through the colder lens of its new luxury ambitions.
