Fernando Cabral
Fernando Cabral grew up in Lisbon planning to study international relations, with football the actual goal, and went into modeling reluctantly after a 2010 ModaLisboa casting pulled him in. The H&M campaign came fast, through photographer Daniel Jackson, who had shot his older brother Armando Cabral, and asked if there was a second one.
Tom Ford put him in advertising. Hugo Boss, Stone Island, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Kenzo followed. He walked Givenchy, Berluti, Roberto Cavalli, Lacoste, and Cerruti through the mid-2010s and shot with Steven Klein and Nick Knight.
The editorial career is where Fernando has staked out his own ground. Arena Homme+, GQ Italia, GQ France, GQ Portugal, Vogue Portugal, 10 Men, System, and El Pais Icon have run him across the last decade, and the Portuguese press has handed him the Golden Globe for Best Male Model twice, in 2014 and again in 2018.
Fernando has remained one of the faces the European show schedule keeps reaching for, with the long face, the lean frame, and a stillness on camera that works across editorials and lookbooks alike. The Cabral brothers run as one of the few sibling acts in male modeling working at scale, and Fernando is the one whose career has gone deepest into the editorial side of the business.
