A checked overcoat and running shorts make an unlikely training outfit, but they show how Octobre Éditions’ first running collection fits into its everyday wardrobe. Created with French performance label Circle Sportswear, the limited-edition collaboration takes the Parisian brand’s essentials philosophy into running.
Ludovic James Dias photographs Sadiq Desh and Myles Crosby in images that move between running and the less strenuous business of getting around town. Green shorts sit beneath that overcoat, while a black pair joins a striped rugby shirt and a sweater slung across the chest. These combinations give the technical pieces a life beyond a training session.
Circle supplies the performance expertise, with lightweight, breathable fabrics, reflective details, and practical pockets across a 10-piece lineup of tops, leggings, windbreakers, shorts, and caps. Black, ecru, and green keep the palette restrained, while illustrated runners beneath “Run Edition” bring some club-shirt charm. The collection leaves room for both a serious run and a leisurely walk with the dog.
