Rockin’ Romantic–British model Rory Torrens steps out for the spring/summer 2014 lookbook of Swedish designer Mirja Rosendahl. Photographed by Ian Tillotson, Rosendahl’s collection reveals a collision of 1950’s rock ‘n’ roll and the androgyny of the 1980’s New Romantics. Lending the iconic leather jacket wearing bad boy a new attitude, Americana staples are reinterpreted with modern materials. While additions like PVC add a hi-tech sportswear element, draped jackets and cinched waists lend themselves to an experimental mode. / Grooming by Maria Papadopoulou. Creative direction by Alex Mein, Anestis Kartsaklis and Mirja Rosendahl.
