New York Chic–The motto for Assembly New York’s spring 2012 collection may as well be effortlessly chic. Although casual at its core, a strong sensibility of sophistication is cultivated through the carefree silhouettes and easy fabrications. With lightweight materials carelessly cascading down the body, asymmetric shirting and relaxed chinos are generously cut, while exaggerated outerwear and tailored suiting are given a worn-in treatment for an undeniable stab at relaxed elegance.
