William Eustace
William Eustace is a British model whose career connects classic menswear with more experimental fashion imagery. Early advertising for Calvin Klein established his affinity with a clean, restrained image, while his magazine work placed him in the conceptual world of designers such as Raf Simons.
By 2009, William was appearing in ck Calvin Klein’s advertising, photographed by Craig McDean. He returned for the label’s spring 2010 campaign alongside Mark Cox, establishing an early connection with its precise, modern image. Advertising for Daks followed that spring, while Z Zegna cast him in its spring 2011 campaign. These bookings placed him within several different approaches to tailored menswear early in his international career.
Editorial work gave William a more experimental setting. In 2010, Vogue Hommes Japan made him the subject of a story drawn from the Raf Simons archive. The feature cast him as a serious, self-contained figure, connecting his look to a strand of menswear shaped by subculture and a designer’s personal vocabulary. His magazine portfolio also includes Numéro Homme and L’Officiel Hommes Italia.
William’s work with Venetia Scott developed another side of his image. She photographed him for A.P.C.’s fall 2011 campaign, then Club Monaco’s fall 2012 advertising. Those associations brought him into a world of practical classics and expressive portraiture, extending the quieter qualities already visible in his earlier photographs.
Runway work connected William to both European houses and American designers, including Bottega Veneta and Robert Geller, with repeated appearances for Todd Snyder. His later magazine work included a Salvatore Ferragamo story for Elle Man Serbia in 2015, alongside appearances in international editions of GQ Style. Across these settings, his strongest images give familiar menswear a particular wearer, someone whose expression is as much a part of the photograph as the clothes.
