If you recall, Samantha West photographed Will Lewis for the Bess lookbook. Asked about the Bess shoot, West explained “I love working with Will. I had never shot with him previous to the Bess shoot, but we had an instant bond since we are both born and raised Manhattanites. Will posses a sense of rampant masculinity and earthiness that is not found much in male models these days. He has the ability to be sexy, animal, gentlemanly, dandyish, romantic, raw, or guy next door. His personality and look worked out so well for the Bess shoot.” Having the results of a great shoot and a budding friendship, it is no surprise that West was inspired to photograph Will once more, this time opting for a more intimate shoot. In reference to the shoot, West added that she particularly enjoyed shooting these; “with a timeless almost old-fashioned face, Will possesses such a visage. I’m super happy for him and all his recent success.”
